Mandriva Enterprise Server 5 - solution for high-level enterprise servers. The new version of significant changes were made to support the virtualization technology KVM, a standard administrative tool kit distribution of integrated tools for managing virtual environments and creating new environments. In addition, the new version simplified the installation process: added ability to install pre-configured service sets of programs focused on a certain kind of functionality (mail server, file server, print server, directory service, etc.). The distribution also includes a directory server Mandriva Directory Server, allowing users to organize a centralized database integration with server applications such as Samba, Postfix, Squid and CUPS.
